Dunn Tire Chairman and
President, Randy Clark, was recently inducted into the Tire
Industry Association Hall of Fame. A ceremony was
held in Las Vegas on October 29th, 2012 to honor Mr.
Clark as well as three other inductees, including: Bruce Halle,
founder of Discount Tire Co.; Paul Kruder, founder of Computerized
Information and Management Services Inc. (CIMS); and Pete Veldman,
founder of The Tire Rack.
During his tenure with Dunn Tire, Randy Clark has helped transform the company into one of the largest independent tire dealerships in the U.S. By focusing the company on brand image and world class customer service, he has grown Dunn Tire to the 18th largest independent tire retailer in North America as ranked by Tire Business magazine.
Dunn Tire has made strides in philanthropy as well. With Mr. Clark at the helm, Dunn Tire has lead Breast Cancer Awareness campaigns, holiday food drives and notable donations to disaster relief efforts.
Mr. Clark has chaired the Buffalo Niagara Enterprise, a Western New York business development organization, and Dunn Tire has invested more than a half million dollars to support the organization and its goals of developing new and existing companies in the region. Mr. Clark was also named “Niagara Frontier Executive of the Year” by the University at Buffalo (N.Y.) School of Management.
These accomplishments along with his successful roles at Dunlop Tire North America and AAA of Western New York have helped secure Mr. Clark’s place in the Tire Industry Association Hall of Fame.
The purpose of the Tire Industry Association Hall of Fame is to “honor, preserve, and perpetuate the names and outstanding accomplishments of those individuals who have brought lasting fame to the tire, rubber, and transportation industries.” Hall of Fame recipients are nominated by their peers and then finalized by the TIA Board of Directors.
