Tire ServiceAnyone who drives is most likely on the lookout for potholes. This time of year, the roads are just decimated with holes and cracks. It doesn’t matter if you’re driving on country roads, highways or city streets – no pavement is spared from winter’s fiery.

As you continue to drive over this terrain, your car can take a beating. Even if you do your best to slow down and swerve to avoid major potholes, your vehicle is likely to absorb a fair share of bumps. There is just too much road damage that accumulates over these long winters.

If you notice a change in your vehicle’s performance, don’t hesitate – stop into any Dunn Tire for our Peace of Mind inspection. We’ll check for signs of damage to your tires, brakes, suspension, alignment, balance, etc.

In some cases, you may be unaware that a problem exists, or you may keep postponing an appointment for a variety of reasons.  Unnoticeable damage can lead to a variety of issues which reduce driving performance and jeopardize safety. You may find that your tires begin to wear unevenly or the vehicle develops handling problems that were not there before.  That’s why it’s important to bring the vehicle in to be checked out as soon as possible, rather than putting it off.  Procrastination may end up costing you more money in the long run.

In addition to having your vehicle checked out when there is a problem, routine maintenance can be your best ally.  Having a trained technician inspect your suspension, alignment, wheels, and tires is invaluable. Taking the appropriate precautions can result in improved vehicle performance, handling, efficiency, and safety. Some of these minor adjustments can provide immeasurable benefits. Furthermore it gives you peace of mind.
